We believe it important to identify the accomplishments, achievements, and sacrifices of our membership. In the past version of Legion of Myth we used a ribbon system to identify achievements. Although the old ribbons and citations were lost when our boards were hacked, we have come up with a new system for the modern Legion of Myth.
In creating this system, we wanted to make awards achievable by all members and to be able to recognize achievements big and small. We also wanted the awards to actually mean something; to identify actual accomplishments above and beyond posting in the occasional topic. We believe that we have achieved a good balance with the available awards.
We also maintain a list of awards recipients that includes:
- Date received
- Award image
- Accomplishment bullets/write-up - to include all measurable and provable facts.
We'll provide a link to this database as soon as it is ready.
We'll be handing out awards to those who deserve them ASAP. Please be patient. We will get to all of you long time members ASAP. We have to review each member's accomplishment individually.
How to wear awards in your signature block.
Awards are to be placed under your SBU in the proper order. If you do not have an SBU (e.g. Registered User), awards are to be the bottom most portion of your signature.
- Row 1: Basic awards before superior awards: Superior Awards:
- [Old School] [Longevity] [G&CAA] [LoMAA] [G&CCA] [LoMCM] [LoM]
- Row 2: Older campaigns before newer campaigns: Campaign Awards:
- [SWG] [CoH] [WoW] [EQ2] [WAR] [TOR]
With the exception of the campaign awards and notable exceptions agreed upon by the House of Scions, all awards are for achievements that took place since the most recent restructuring of Legion of Myth on June 14, 2008. Previous versions of the ribbons and awards, presented prior to June 14, 2008, are not authorized.
Do not wear awards you are not authorized. Doing so may result in warnings or banning.
